The National Tutor Forum runs once a year in November, this year we will be taking the event to The Barracks conference centre in Stirling. Hosted by SSPDT in partnership with the National Piping Centre this forum is run for tutors working with young people across Scotland.
It is a valuable opportunity for piping and drumming tutors to come together, share ideas, discuss best practice and learn from one another. Through collaboration, discussion, and the exchange of experience, the Forum aims to support and strengthen tuition across our community.
This informal and interactive day will cover a range of topics offering practical solutions to common teaching challanges. The day is designed around plenty of networking opporunties which maximise peer-to-peer learning.
Tea, coffee and a light lunch is provided on the day and you should bring along your chanters and sticks/pads for some practical sessions too.
