The Moray Schools Pipes and Drums Tuition Scheme is run by registered charity, The Moray Youth Pipes and Drums Tuition Scheme (MYPDTS, charity no. SC047077), with the Scottish Schools Pipes and Drums Trust – SSPDT, supported by the Moray Council Instrumental Service.  The scheme is run on a non-profit basis and subsidised with grants from the SSPDT and the Council to make lessons as affordable as possible.  Lessons can be subsidised or free of charge in circumstances where families find it difficult to afford some or all of the costs (more about costs in About the Scheme).

Coordinator: Fiona Caldwell, longstanding piping tutor for schools in Lossiemouth, Elgin, and Forres, is the Coordinator of the scheme.
